adminKeymasterHello, thanks a lot:) I wish the same 🙂
Think about dosbox like a virtual machine – and in game profile you setup which sound card will be emulated. However, old dos games were not designed for detection pc hardware. You must manually set in game which sound card is in your pc. Probably in game directory will be program SETUP.EXE or SOUND.EXE, or something like this. Here you must setup it.
adminKeymasterAaaha now I understand. You want button combinations for triggering differenr actions. I will think about it. But you know that these combinations will require some delays for detectiob. Something like detecting double tap.
I can allow bind key widget in next version, no problem.
Next year I will work on more updates for gamepad, because I want get mDosbox officially on android tv consoles.
adminKeymasterHi,
I dont understand what you try to do. Why you need bind key widget? You can bind key directly to button.
Maybe you want open menu and pick something from menu? However, this is not implemented…but will be next year
adminKeymasterIt is all managed by android system and depends on which cpu power plan is used. On linux is possible use cpu affinity and “pin” thread to chosen processor (in our case we could run dosbox core on strongest cpu). However I cant get it work, somewhere I found that google team blocked this feature directly in kernel since android 5+ ;(
I updated list, thanks 🙂 It pretty grows 🙂
adminKeymasterInteresting! thanks for discovery
adminKeymasterHi,
Here is mgc file, you can check how I setup it. Just import it in mdosbox, i used expert settings.

And here is that dat file

adminKeymasterHard to say without having these files. Ogg support was added long time ago. For a test I just tested dungeon keeper from gog.com and it works.
Did you test these files with desktop dosbox?
EDIT : I just tested worms united from gog.com. This version uses cue+ogg too and it works. They renamed cue to dat, but it is only extension rename. All works fine.
adminKeymasterIt must be easy, just find dosbox config file with [autoexec] section at the end and paste that section here
adminKeymasterHere is how I play duke3d
The game must support native joystick. I implemented support for keys, but this sucks. Try check first in-app help about tilt, I tried explain a lot of there.
But, simply, you need enabled native 2axis joystick and you must calibrate it. Then if you are able play game with virtual joystick set to 2axis, you can use tilt. I, for example, have virtual joystick on screen for calibration, then I hide it and enable tilt.
adminKeymasterYes, I don’t see other delays. Here is algorithm for click by relative mouse :
if ((timeDiff > 10) && (timeDiff < 300) && (distDiffX < distanceSmall) && (distDiffY < distanceSmall)) {
doClick();
}It is checked on finger UP. Do click when :
1. if ((finger_up_time – finger_down_time) < 300ms) - you must put finger off the screen quickly, below 300ms and
2. abs(finger_downXY – finger_upXY) < 1dp - you cannot drag finger over screen, XY difference betwee finger down and up must be in distance 1dp (around 3 pixels)I am wondering why I use only 1dp, seems to me like too small distance, but probably it works fine 😀
adminKeymasterThank you, right, relative mouse is delayed. I can check it, now i dont remember why it is 🙂 maybe bug, maybe it has reason, will post here answer after check
Edit: some delay is caused, because by relative mouse click(mouse down/up) is executed after you put finger off the screen. By absolute mouse is done mouse on on finger down and mouse up on finger up.
adminKeymasterHmm this is weird. Double tap surely increases global delay, it must. But with disabled dbl tap and swipes it should be ok. Can you export your game settings to mgc file and share it here? Like always in December I have deadlines in my job, but will try look at this.
adminKeymasterHello,
There shouldn’t be noticable delay unless you have not enabled double tap or swipe gesture. Other gestures dont enable global delay.
Mouse widget is quick and is not affected by global delay.
Try create new profile and use mouse without setup, do you feel still delay?
adminKeymaster
Enough! Well nothing is perfect, but mapper was made by cooperation with many, many people and works very well. Now you are blaming on work of many people who sacrifices their free time at cost of family or their hobby. And this is unacceptable.This is not your first, nor second or third post with similar content. Constructive criticism is welcomed, because moves things forward, however I will not tolerate these rude word or this type of messaging. You post will stay here like a warning for others, but your activity on this forum is stopped.
Edit : Save all settings from general settings after editing mapper.
adminKeymasterIt is not only about difference between arm and x86. M-HT did very good job in translation. I tried x86 cpus included in mobile phones and they give similar score. Nothing special.
