Did it work? I wonder what’s gping on. Somehow, your posts seem to get stuck on status “pending” instead of “publish”. ?

Weird. I can see the edited comment with all the icons explained.
I’ll edit it (won’t change anything ?), and try to re-publish it.

In the profile’s gui options. But as you’re obviously using expert settings, those are disabled anyway.

My best guess at this point would be a reinstall of the game from that virtual cdrom drive.
If the copy you’re using is, let’s say, from a questionable source, it might just as well be plain broken, though.

Should be pretty straightorward: either by ticking the checkbox in the Magic Dosbox game profile, or, if you’re using expert settings, with the -cdrom command (e.g.:
    mount d /storage/emulated/0/YourCdromFolder -t cdrom)

Yep, had to be made a hiddem folder because system cleaning apps have caused some trouble in the past (i.e. deleted the whole folder).
Even so, it’s advised not to use cleaning apps btw. ?

Are you running the game from your sd card? If so, have you requested full r/w access for Magic Dosbox (in General setings)?
The same error (missing file) happens when you try to run Wing Commander without r/w permissions.

Working, see here (some minonr audio skipping, mainly due to the recording running in the background):

    Thank you very much! ?
I’ll copy my own SC installation to my phone to double check, will take a while to dl it from my cloud storage.

But I’m seeing a possible reason: you said you’ve configured Windows to use Soundblaster 16, but you’ve set sbtype=sb2 in your conf settings. So I’d suggest you change that to sbtype=sb16, and oplmode=auto.

As a general suggestion, unless you have an older phone/tablet, you should also set rate=44100 (under the [mixer] tab). This has practically no impact on performance, but wildramatically improve the quality of General MIDI and MT32 emulation.

Maybe give us some more information first…? ?

Seriously, it’s impossible to troubleshoot without any knowledge of what’s going on. For example, what config options are you using in Magic Dosbx? Have you configured Soundblaster in Win95 and in Starcraft setup? Is it working in other games? Etc etc, things like that.
I can confirn Starcraft is working fine, so I’m confident we can find a solution for this issue.

    Hi,
sounds like a neat idea. The savestates are stored in the game’s profile folder. It’s either in /Android/data/bruenor.magicbox/Games/Data oder .MagicBox/Games/Data. The folder name itself is a weird number code, but you can find the game you’re currently playing by looking at the last_started_games.xml file in the .MagicBox/Games folder.

I posted a .mgc file in the mgc file section: https://magicbox.imejl.sk/forums/topic/crusader-no-remorse/
With these settings, the game should run. You’ll have to check the mounting commands, I think the profile uses expert settings (dosbox.conf config).

Edit: holy crap! It’s been 5 years since I posted this!? ??

Best look at the original layout. Most likely there are two overlapping widgets, the topmost configured as “Non blocking”, which means the lower underlying widget will be triggered as well. It’s possible that you swapped the position of the two widgets in the process of rearranging then, so the non blocking widget is below the other one now.
