Al exKeymasterThanks, added to the list! That’s actually a really good score, especially considering the price of this console. ?
Al exKeymasterDoes it work in Windows Dosbox? Also, have you tried different core and cputype options?
Edit: forget about the core & cputype. I just saw it’s a Win9x game. Try toggling SVN core in the game profile settings.
Al exKeymasterThanks very much for sharing this! ?
In case you’re wondering: I’ve removed the game download link, because technically, abandonware is still piracy. Even if noone really cares. ?
Al exKeymasterThe whole thing may be related tp the Win95 version. The one from RolandDeschain is Windows 95A (OSR 1.0). Higher versions might work better. I suggest you try get hold of a copy of a Windows 95C (OSR 2.5) build.
Al exKeymasterStill no luck. It’s working on my PC, but I only get a black screen when I boot it on my phone. Safe Mode is working, though. ?
Maybe this guide can help you: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688353
Al exKeymasterNo chance. The biggest problem is that there’s no Glide/Direct3D support, so anything has to be software emulated, and will run painfully slow. I think you can install and launch Windows XP in Bochs/Qemu, but only as a proof of concept. You won’t be able to actually play anything.
I’m checking on the Win95 install again.
Al exKeymasterIt’s not working in both Andosbox and Dosbox Turbo, so there’s probably something wrong with the initial Android Dosbox sources. And also with the image itself, because it is possible to make Win95 work on Android.
I’ll keep trying…
Al exKeymasterWinXP won’t work. It doesn’t even work on Windows Dosbox sadly.
Maybe something can be done about svga_S3 emulation in MagicDosbox, but the issue may be related to Android. Sources are the same as Windows. ?
Al exKeymasterAlright, something in general. Here’s a really cool site for anything Win95-on-Dosbox related:

Insanely good tutorials, complete driver downloads, it’s great.Next, I played a bit with the Win95 image from the Roland Deschain xda thread. It’s working perfectly fine when I mount it on Windows Dosbox, it starts in 16 bit mode, and I can launch Diablo 2. In Magic Dosbox, it doesn’t recognize the drivers. No luck installing S3 drivers so far, either. But I’ll keep trying. 🙂
Al exKeymasterYeah, it’s running slow for me, too. Must be a Win98 thing. I’ll try the Win95 image, and see how to update the drivers properly.
I’ve linked the profile further above, it’s the one I made for Diablo 1, you can also find it in the .mgc section. All you have to do is copy&paste your current mounting commands into this profile’s expert settings.
Al exKeymasterOk, I just tried with the Win98 lite image from the same xda thread, and it’s working. You might want to give it a go.
Al exKeymasterYou can try one of the images in this xda post.
Al exKeymasterThanks, updated the list! ?
Gotta get the Oreo update going on my S7 edge. I’m using TWRP, root, dm verity unlock, and all sorts of ocustom tweaks, so I gotta do it all manually. ?
Al exKeymasterHaven’t played Diablo 2 much tbh, but it’s working well. I recorded the above video with the Samsung Game Tools recorder.
I did play Diablo 1 though for a while, and that one was perfectly playable. Thanks to the brilliant Magic Dosbox controls. ?
Al exKeymasterThis is Diablo 2 running on my S7 edge:
The config is the one I made for Diablo 1, you can download it from the .mgc download section here on the forum.
