Maybe you can fix that with mouse sensitivity settings? When you find the working values for absolute mouse, target should also work.
Al exKeymasterIt’s very delicate and can break easily, due to all the stuff that goes on in between. Make sure you always clickt the refresh button before you pick the pixels. And I think it also reacts strange if you change image scaling afterwards (e.g. from original aspect ratio to stretch-to-fill).
Al exKeymasterHm, maybe you can add a “Wait” command to the deadly strike widget to allow the save game section to load in, then execute the next commands within the same DS widget. You can also trigger another DS widget by using the “Combo” option:
1. Pixel Trap -> triggers Deadly Strike widget
2. Deadly Strike widget -> triggers another Deadly Strike widget (via “Combo” command)Al exKeymasterYou can assign Deadly Strike widgets to a Pixel Trap. Create the widget first, then create a new Pixel Trap, and chose the Deadly Strike widget as action for the appear/disappear condition.
Pixel Traps are arguably one of the coolest features in Magic Dosbox. The amount of automation you can build into 30+ years old DOS games is pretty mindblowing. 🙂

Might be something as simple as a typo in your mounting commands. If you like, paste the contents of your expert commands section here, so we can take closer look. 🙂
Al exKeymasterThanks, good to know. 🙂
As for screenshots, you have to upload them to an image hosting website, then insert the link here.Al exKeymasterYou’re welcome. 🙂
And there are no “little things”, it’s just always easy once you’ve figured it out. 😉Al exKeymasterDepends on your mounting commands. Assuming you mounted /storage/emulated/0/DOS/ as Drive C:, you’d start from there (e.g. C:\WC\WING2\GAMEDAT)
Al exKeymasterCome to think of it (and after trying it out just now), I do actually remember it pretty well. It’s all very straightforward, just enter the path to your WC1 savegame file, and you’re good to go. Works today just as it did back then. 🙂
Al exKeymasterInteresting question, I have never even thought about that in 30 years. 😉
Maybe this will help: https://www.gog.com/forum/wing_commander_series/how_to_transfer_wc_pilot_to_wc2
Al exKeymasterHere you go: https://www.mediafire.com/file/faq7b5r7y777xa0/Frontier_Elite_II.mgc/file
Luckily, I still had it stored on my phone. 🙂
Al exKeymasterLooks like you didn’t mount drive d: correctly then. Take a look at what Dosbox displays while booting up. It should say something like this:
Drive C is mounted as [path to folder]
Drive D is mounted as [path to image file]Al exKeymasterAre you getting the same error on the other Dosbox version you tried? Looks like some sort of disk access / write permission issue. Which is really strange, considering it’s bugged on one A52, but working on another. Are your files / folders write protected? Highly unlikely, but at this point, I’d be willing to try anything.
Al exKeymasterWhat folder name are you using? Mine is “Construc”, to meet the 8 char requirement.
Al exKeymasterMaybe NSA have decided you’re playing to many video games, and blocked your phone? 🤷♂️
