thank you very much. Please what device you have? Can you check which library type was loaded? You can check it on left bottom corner in Advances settings (when you run game). And which game do you start?
adminKeymasterHi, thank you for a hint. I appreciate any king of help. Currently magic dosbox uses output=surface, but only for receiving raw data. Result is then rendered with OpenglES. I will check sources if there is any difference in basic data creation.

Which Ultima games are you having problems with? I have every Dos Ultima running without problems on my Nexus 7.
Wasteland just uses the PC speaker for sound, so make sure the PC Speaker box is checked. I don’t think it’s on by default. That goes the same for some of the earliest Ultima games.

Ok, it seems to be working now. When I start the Ultimas from the default GUI or with your (ChrisG) .mgc’s, I don’t get any sound. If all I do is check the Expert settings then it will work.
I also just tried turning PC Speaker on, as you suggested and that seems to work with default and your .mgc’s.

I owned nexus 7 2013. Great device without sound problems. Please can you export game which has sound trouble and share it together with game data? These games are playing people daily. I believe that there must be only some wrong setting. Do you use expert settings or run game through GUI? Maybe you use dosbox turbo config which is not 100% compatible with magic dosbox. Both emulators are a bit different.

I appreciate it. Really, my idea is to make gui interface for people who never used dosbox. It is still in diapers, but I will improve it in soon future (I take any kind of idea for improvement). It is hard to make simple, clear interface which will not bother with dozens dosbox functions and will set 90% settings automatically (and correctly).
EL MB mostly point on texts and cartoon images. I am not against idea for toggling between two styles. Will see in future when to-do list will be shorter.

when you start donated version then in left bottom corner is crate. This help you import existing layout. For duplicating existing layout use long touch on game configuration and in right bottom corner is button for additional menu 😉

2. Yes, it is on to do list. There are missing things which cannot be implemented to current control scheme. Unfortunately this is one of them. I want start working on new control scheme in on near future.

Hmm..Really I don’t know what to say 😉 People are in two groups. The first group likes this one..let’s say funny or unconventional look. Second group hate it…and I know it…
But I did not want make only ‘piece of software’. Magic dosbox is door to another world. Full of fantasy, old memories and I think these icons fits.
I will think about it. I cannot rewrite full interface. But Icons and texts can be parametrized.
This is interesting topic and maybe more people could write here their opinion…
adminKeymasterSo in version 20 were added functions for aligning selected widgets to first selected. You can align width and height too. It is still necessary to add input where you can write manually widget size and position?
Function for hide/show all widgets is already implemented and will be in update 22. Now you can use combo with phantom presence to hide buttons.
I finished function for duplication widgets too.

adminKeymasteryes, it takes some workaroud, but should work. There is no direct input for that, but try this:
Put first mouse touch widget on screen and edit it. Set duration permanent and action move. Confirm and go to play mode. Press widget. Now you changed default mouse action to move. You can add additional mouse touch widgets, one for left and second for right click. They can have duration temporary or permanent. Depends on what you prefer.
Hint : deadly strike has action for toggle mouse events

Magic dosbox is not automatically killed when is minimized. It depends on your Android settings. Try look at developer settings. There should be limit for background processes.
