Al exKeymasterThank you very much, that looks ingenious! ?? I’ve been working on a UW1/UW2 layout, but it sort of drove me crazy. ?
I’ll try yours, I’ve been wanting to replay UW1 for a long time now.13. January 2019 at 12:19 in reply to: Commander Keen game profile for all episodes [UPDATED TO V2] #6838
Al exKeymasterThe link is working. I just downloaded the file. Maybe try another browser to download it?
I also edited your post a bit, to remove the caps. ?13. January 2019 at 2:17 in reply to: Commander Keen game profile for all episodes [UPDATED TO V2] #6836
Al exKeymasterGreat, thank you very much! ?

Al exKeymasterAh, ok. In Solid Explorer, you need to tap the 3 dot menu at the top right, then “Folder options”, and “Show hiddem folders”.
You’ll be surprised at how many apps create hidden folders on your internal sd card. ?12. January 2019 at 21:42 in reply to: Commander Keen game profile for all episodes [UPDATED TO V2] #6828
Al exKeymasterIf you selected “public” as your mDosbox data location, it’s all in
/sdcard/.MagicBox
You’ll need a 3rd party file browser like Solid Explorer to view it, the dot prefix hides the directory from the default Android file browser.12. January 2019 at 18:50 in reply to: Commander Keen game profile for all episodes [UPDATED TO V2] #6821
Al exKeymasterGreat opportunity to practice then. ?
Or maybe someone has the profile stored somewhere, and can re-upload it. I don’t have it sadly, so I can’t share it. ?12. January 2019 at 15:31 in reply to: Commander Keen game profile for all episodes [UPDATED TO V2] #6819
Al exKeymasterNot sure if that user’s still active, topic is 2 1/2 years old. ?
The profile doesn’t seem very conplicated though, shouldn’t take too long do create it from scratch.
Al exKeymasterAlright. ?
If you get it to work, please report back. Would be interesting to look into.
Al exKeymasterAnd a follow-up: I copied the iso to my internal sd, and setup the dos game directory on the internal sd, and it worked. I also renamed the iso to nba95.iso (no idea if that does anything, but the file name was really long).
So there’s something weird going on with external sd card support in Kitkat. Btw, I also tested with AnDosbox, and got the same bug. So it’s not Magic Dosbox specific, but rather some kind of general OS vs Dosbox conflict.
Al exKeymasterAlright, it looks like a Kitkat issue. I just tried to launch the install on an old Samsung tablet running Kitkat 4.4.4, and I got the same disk full error.
While that’s nowhere neat a solution, it’s definitely something to work with. ?
Al exKeymasterI’m still curious about the missing request permission button. What Android version is your device running? Could it be Kitkat based? Because Google broke sd card support starting with Lollipop, which made the request permission button necessary.
Al exKeymasterDang, you’re right… ?
Al exKeymasterYou did everything right. I grabbed the iso once again, and all I did now was adjust the mountings of your profile. The game’s working perfectly. This is one of the weirdest cases I have ever seen.
Have you already tried another iso?
Al exKeymasterWin95 only supports images up to 2GB. If you want to install multiple games, you can use multiple 1 or 2GB images, and mount the one you need in each game profile.
Al exKeymasterCan you export your profile, and post a dl link here? So we can have a look at it, and see if there’s anything unusual (though after you’ve already tried my profile, I can’t promise anything).
