As nice as this is, as of today, Engine build games are MUCH better played on Raze Touch source port from Opentouch Gaming. its free on his web 😀 http://opentouchgaming.com/raze-touch/

For Build games, try raze touch free from Opentouch gaming! Its a wonderful app, much much better choice than any Dosbox fork.

Haha no problem, its a nice feature to have I think. Yes, full backup will work and I intend to use it of course, but the original idea was to mass share my mgcs or at least those I find interesting enough.

Btw Still using MDB, still kicks ass !

Bonus Content : opentouch gaming recently realeased Raze Touch for free, a build engine source port that allows you to play Duke 3D, Blood, Shadow warrior, Redneck Rampage… in a pretty optimal way ( used to play all these on MDB, wich with the onscreen profile that you created but Raze its just amazingly optimiced )

As said, check the Android port. Its MILES better to play it on mobile than using mdb. Ive completed all games in my phone, s7 galaxy edge with exynos chipset ( BG1,2 IWD1,2 PS:T and NWN 😛 )… size screen is not a dealbreaker and usability is very good.

Furthermore, I think that PS:T and other infinity engine games are built for xin xp and wont work on win 95. Plus I imagine that the loading times on a phone would be scary.

Furthermore, there is a free engine reimplementation called GEMrb. Its a bit of a pain to set up and has some bugs but you can play through the full game. And other as well like BG1, 2 and IWD1 ( IWD2 is unpolished and uncompletable thou )

If my memory serves right, thats the use for the upper left toggleable button ( its called mouse looking ) and allows to aim using the right side of the touch screen.

Use the one created for Duke 3d. It works pretty well on all Build Ebgine games with only some minor tweaks.

Both Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear need a 3d card, so you are stuck to play in software renderer, so … bye bye fps.

No way to crank them up. Tried everything I could 😀 I used to LOVE Rogue Spear haha

Hey Alex, Beloko is back on the play store, quite some time ago actually, as Opentouch Gaming 😀

That Quad Touch Im talking about its his old Quake touch! :D:D He got Doom Touch back too, named now Delta Touch. He has plans to port at least the Jedi Knight engines too ( told in his discord ). The engines now are MILES better than then old ones. Even Delta Touch has Zanondrum3.0 and lastest GZDoom… so all the great mods out there work perfectly.

I completed Doom’s Sigil a few weeks ago hahaha 😀

For Quake, as much as I love MDB, Id suggest using Quad Touch from the play store. It’s a a port of several engines, it runs from Quake 1 to Quake 3 and Hexen2, plus mods. It’s much faster than MDB and some of the en gines have much better graphics than the og Quake, plus it support gamepads and the touchscreen controls are superB.

Old programmers really loved to do some weid quirks to their games :p

It would be so simple to load a file from the HD, or locate the original BT folder, or lots of other easy options…

Im really curious as wich games would need a writable second drive 😀 Mind telling me please? I can only think of some diskette game that has some kind of anticopy on the discs but… ¿?

Forget about Windows 3d games. Everything I tried is just too slow and the loading times are atrocious. Aoe2, even beign a Win 9x game, runs quite ok on my s7 edge exynos, it stutters a bit here and there but definetly works.
