I never created a profile with more layers and widgets. Its crazy. Even compared to complex UI games like darklands. While lol actually is pretty straight forward in its controls.
I think i will create an extra screen after loading a save game. There you can select your current party size before doing anything else.
Something is strange in my profile. Double click won’t work on the telescope streams.. so no right click on telescope screens what is only a little problem because you only need right click for using items, but still… I finally solved it but was pain in the ass.
The final problem i have is the heal spell. Selecting the character who needs to be healed messes up the UI. I think i cannot fix this, but i also think i can live with it :p

I almost finished a Lands of Lore Portrait profile. Its more complicated than I thought because want to make it without bugs what is a bit tricky because almost no hotkeys. Biggest problem is the character section because the positions change if you have 1 or 2 or 3 characters (what is scripted by game and cannot be changed). I want to add different UIs for the different group sizes (see last screenshot). As soon as it is bug free I will upload it.

I also did an Ultima 8 profile and played it now long enough to call it finished.
Ultima 8 is not famous for its controls but it works surprisingly well on magic dosbox, at least if you have the patch activated which let you jump exactly to the mouse cursor position.
– swipe up: show/hide main UI
– swipe down: show/hide menu UI
– swipe left: close all bags
– swipe right: ESC/menu– absolute mouse working well and can be used 100%
– with the triangle arrows you change left and right mouse button
– In the upper corners you see which mouse button is activated to avoid confusion
– on left and right side you find a jump button (yes 2, because easier handling in critical situations)
– the axe button activates combat mode and makes a kick button available
I meant where is that function in magic dosbox ? But i found it now.
Btw many of your profiles somehow don’t work for me. Only if i switch off expert options. In this wc2 mgc also the screen was not moved to the side.
Hmm sounds interesting. I try to find something. Btw my phone is xiaomi mi 2a. I think it’s pure android one phone..
And yes all these play store cleaner and booster are shit. Its just placebo, but sometimes placebo works ^^

Isnt there anything in the expert settings of magic dosbox? Can’t i change resolution or so? Did not find an ini file in game folder to change.
But actually there are some ingame settings. I will test a bit more. Its quite some technical game with 3dfx and so. And i just found out its one of the last games released on dos and thus quite demanding heheOk more about the game 🙂
it starts to lag a bit in later mission, when there are more ships and stuff around. Any idea if i can boost it? Improve dosbox performance somehow? And it sucks a lot of battery. With low bat it really lags.I am still bugged. If i edit my threads it says i cannot reply to this thread and then the thread disappears in the forum 😮
