I don’t play Carmageddon. Apparently it’s a 64-bit dosbox problem. Maybe this link will help you:

Hello. You have the CD mounted but it is disconnected. You must also activate the option that I have marked in the screenshot that I attached. In the other screenshot that you sent, it says that the game runs from the CD and you are running it from the HDD. But try to select that option. Remember, both options must be active. I am attaching a normal configuration. I hope it helps you.

You can configure it to edit a button. But I think it only works for two keys, not three. I attached a screenshot. I hope it helps you.

I must say that Android does not allow me to activate the “ALL FILES” option and I have only been able to do the “Framework Files” tests.

    OF – 14ms
    DF – 70ms.

You can play the Floppy version as well. The executable is also “dune.bat” and you must configure it with “Install”. It most likely has copy protection and will ask you for the page number of an image in the manual. I recommend setting the cycles to 3000 or 4000 so that the Harkonens don’t attack you too quickly. All the best.

Hello. first of all, the game executable should be “dune.bat”, that’s where the parameters are. This is my setup for DuneCD:

You must configure the game by running “Install” from the CD and remember to mount the CD because the sounds are there. I am attaching the drivers for the Roland sound. I hope it helps you.

Hello. You can try going into “Settings” and running “uvconfig.exe”. In the game directory type “cd settings” press “Enter”, “uvconfig.exe” press “Enter” and wait for it to configure. Then go back to the game directory, “cd..” press “Enter” and type “setsound.bat” and press “Enter.” When you finish configuring the sound, type “game.exe” and press “Enter.” If everything went well it should work correctly. I hope this helps you.

I seem to remember that this error already occurred on PC and was corrected with Patch 1.3. It actually only changes a couple of executables.

In any case, you must check that you have mounted the two images on the CDs. When it asks you to change CD you must go to the magic dosbox menu and click on change CD image, wait a second or two and press the Enter key.

You must also keep in mind that if you use “Cheats” the game changes your rank. To explain myself better, if you command the Destroyer and activate the cheats the game promotes you to the maximum rank and assumes that you command the Flagship Thorin. Therefore, to avoid mistakes you must become a lieutenant again. This is done by pressing 5 on the keyboard, if you command the Cruiser and activate the tricks you must finish by pressing 6 to return to the correct range. If you don’t do this the game will ask you to change CDs and will often ask you for CD1 when it should actually ask for CD2.

    I hope it helps you.
