Tagged: sdcard
Hi,
first of all the App is awesome it runs very well on my Amazon Fire TV.
I have 120+ Games installed now, i use an 64GB sdcard.
The only issue i have is the write access of the sdcard.
I know how to set that up, but when i restart the Fire TV (which i have to do from time to time)
the setting is gone, so i have to re-configure the sd-card access after every reboot.
Can this sd-card access be saved somewhere?
Best regards

Hello,
If you set permissions then you should see path in label. If you restart device, then is that label empty or is path still there(but magic dosbox cannot write to sdcard)?
Hi,
when i set the permissions the path is shown and everything works fine.
But after the restart of the device the path is gone and i have to set it again.
Hi,
It happens on some devices, It is bug in android. This bug is there long time and seems google will never fix it. Total commander fights with this problem too and asks automatically for permissions if these are lost. Maybe I can do the same.
Please, try total commander too, asks for permission after restart?
Hi,
i tried the same with total commander, the app has the same problem.
It asks for permission and it works, after restart, i need to give the permission again.
I can try look at web one more time, maybe something has changed since last time, but I think I can’t fix that:( This bug is in android core 🙁
