All these .mgc configs are meant for use primarily with gamepads, depending on the game some touchscreen reliance may or may not also be figured in (although if your controller has a touchpad you may just use that)

I use an iPega-9028 gamepad, which is an Xbox-360 style controller with a touchpad at the top that can be used to drag the cursor around, as well as some extra media buttons at the bottom (play, volume +, etc…) that I am at liberty to also map to keys if I’m out of other physical buttons.

For best results, install mt-32 roms.

If your gamepad has less functionality or a different form, you may need to edit the control schme a little to get something that fits a little better; although for the vast majority of games it shouldnt be neccessary.
