Unfortunately, as you can tell, I encountered a game-breaking bug when playing Madden NFL 97. When I start a match, and after the coin toss along with the field select, the text “domain error in sqrt” is repeated over and over and then freezes when the players are supposed to appear. The message itself means it, apparently, tried to square root a negative number. Trying the game on Windows runs as intended, so it looks like there’s tweaking that needs to be done. Tried changing cycles and CPU core but no difference. :/
