Sound Issue – Leisure Suit Larry 6

    Hey MDB Users,

    Hope you all had a good Christmas?

    Hoping someone can help with a sound issue i have for Leisure Suit Larry 6 (CD version) and/or if anyone else has had similar issue with other games and know how to fix?

    The CD version of LSL6 come with voice overs along with the usual background music but for some reason, i can only get the voices/narration and sound FX etc to work when i run the game – There is no background noise/music.

    Does anyone know of this issue and know how to fix?

    Ive tried with all the different sounds cards available on MDB but none seem to make any difference.

    Any help you can provide would be really appreciated!!

    Hello, thanks a lot:) I wish the same 🙂

    Think about dosbox like a virtual machine – and in game profile you setup which sound card will be emulated. However, old dos games were not designed for detection pc hardware. You must manually set in game which sound card is in your pc. Probably in game directory will be program SETUP.EXE or SOUND.EXE, or something like this. Here you must setup it.

    With PC I mean that virtualized machine – emulated pc
