Are you using a Galaxy S8? Magic Dosbox should support immersive mode, but the S8 with its wide screen is a bit picky, also in many other apps.

If you like tinkering with your phone, you can try one of these two methods:
    https://www.howtogeek.com/302194/how-to-force-any-android-app-into-fullscreen-immersive-mode-without-rooting/ or https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-enable-system-wide-immersive-mode-without-root/

Or, if you’re rooted, try this:

I tried both options, they work, but the problem I have now, is that when connecting a joystick through bluetooth does not work, and that is because the immersive mode is not own Magic DosBox emulator i think… my question is, is there any possibility that in some update, you can install the immersive mode in your emulator? It would be great, because it takes better advantage of the screen. Obviously I imagine that applying the immersive mode in an emulator is not an easy work. Thanks for your answers, I hope that in some update consider this, for me it is the best MS DOS emulator that I have used. Greetings and thanks for your help.

In earlier versions of MDOSBOX it was possible to dim the NavBar: Advanced settings –> Dim navigation bar.
It still works today….but the NavBar is returning again if you touch the screen. It a little bit annyoing.

This isnĀ“t only a problem concerning Galaxy S8.
