Is it possible to add 1×1 desktop widget that would open MagicBox games? My phone doesn’t support desktop shortcuts, so I can’t add them in emulators. But one emulator I use, called “My Boy”, has ability to use desktop widgets to open games. When placing the widget, it opens game selection and after choosing game, just type in the shortcut name and it’s done. I would be very grateful if this could be added in MagicBox! 😀
Yeah, one-two times I received report about lauchers what have problems with custom shortcuts. Reason was replace in-built launcher with nova launcher (or similar). I say truth, in the past I wanted create this type of widget like a fix for shortcuts problem, but it was so rare that I worked on something else. I can’t say now how much work it is, because I never did any desktop widget, but I can look at this.
