I tried another game that also worked previously. It looks like it is now trying to detect a joystick? I have no option for a keyboard. Even when I go to the welcome page and setup magic dosbox, I can’t even use my d-pad buttons. I have press the screen to move forward.

I don’t have Bluetooth on the device. Before, I was just able to bind the game pad buttons to any key on the keyboard. But now that function isn’t working? I’m going to try with a different game and see if I’m having the same issue.

I finally got it working! It was all just and sd card issue that resulted in many other problems and frustrations.

However, I am now having an issue binding the game pad and d-pad buttons to the keyboard. This wasn’t an issue prior to the update. Any suggestions?

Yeah, legacy rom is a custom, I think specifically for emulators (I’m not entirely sure).

I know it’s not the iso, and it works in Dosbox on my pc. I’ll try on a different dos emulator over the weekend.
    Thanks

I’ve done the same, copied the iso and setup directory on internal sd. Coming up with the other error: locateshape – ‘ thum’ SHAPE NOT FOUND. I can enter and brings me to D:\>NBA95>

If i type in nba95 enter, it acts like it might load, but then just goes back to D:\>NBA95>

Ah, I believe it is KitKat based.
    Android version 4.4.4
    Model number: Nexus 5
Build number: LegacyROM-XD Kitkat (ext 4)

I had someone else try the same iso rom and worked on his android device, even using the free version of Magic Dosbox.
And yes, it happens with both cores.

    Is KitKat an issue?
    Thanks for following up

I have tried a different iso.

I have to believe it’s my device; just can’t handle it lol.

I mentioned this in the first comment, but I am running on a GPD xd.

I’ll keep messing around with it; maybe I’ll post a youtube video as well.

Yeah, that’s the one I’ve been using too. Archive actually has two, an iso and a zip. Neither will work for me.

    Thanks anyways for your help.

And now I’m back to my original issue, the hard disk is full. So I moved all the files to my internal storage and followed the same steps, which gets me to the error “locateshape…SHAPE NOT FOUND” from before.

    Oh well :/

Okay, I’ve used your mgc, the same iso from archive, but the maximum free space allowed is 1000mb (not 1024). Is there a way to increase it the config?

Also, for the main program, where did you find the nba95.exe file? Or does that become available after installation? I can’t remove the main program file, is that an issue prior to installation?

You’ve been very helpful and I appreciate your determination to get this to work for me. I’m thinking of taking a video and uploading to youtube so you can see exactly what I’m doing.

Other than going through expert commands and typing it all in myself, is there another way to increase freesize to 1024?

Okay, got one step further. Instead of the blinking cursor and locking up, it goes to a black screen with the following:
locateshape – ‘ thum’ SHAPE NOT FOUND.

I can hit enter and brings me to D:\NBA95

Lol, I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. I can’t believe you got it working.

When I mount the image and go to d:, should I not run install.exe from there?

I just watched the video posted here on your site, but I don’t have that option to permit to request permission. I have the SD-Card and storages section. When I click on Show detected storages, the system is displaying full access to both the external and internal SD cards.

I just purchased Magic Dosbox the other day, so I have to believe it’s the most recent version.

I’m having the same issue with Daggerfall; I followed every step correctly but I just get that blinking cursor.
