Hello,
thank you very much:) Yes, I will record installation guide for win3.11. Fortunately this process is absolutely easy against win95 and you don’t need virtual box. But life is not easy and with current version is not so easy, you must wait to next version – at least if you want install it from floppy discs, because only next version will support multiple floppies in one drive(but maybe there is some iso file). In last 3 weeks I installed win3.11 from floppies maybe 10 times and it works very well. And next version will support it only through expert settings, unfortunately you will be able set multiple floppies in gui in version 43(now will go out 42). Currently I am very busy with other tasks. In expert settings you will be able mount multiple floppies exactly like you do it with iso files. And I want create video guide after I will finish gui:)
Best regards,
TonyadminKeymasterHi,
on nvidia shield you must disable one option. It was discussed in some topic here. In Controller->Threat mouse as touch->off
Tony
adminKeymasterMultiple floppy disk will be available in next version. Not gui yet, only from expert settings for now
adminKeymasterI edited my question
adminKeymasterHi,
I am sorry for entering your discussion. Please can someone recommend good client for telnet communication? In the past I played text online game
http://www.wray.sk/?page=mudstart
And I think with widget system it would be well playable. I like to have client in which I set buffer size for scrolling lines up/down
EDIT : I need a client for MS-DOS. I want run it in mDosbox, because I want create various on-screen buttons with macros:)
Thank you,
TonyadminKeymasterThank you, list was updated:)
adminKeymasterPerfect Alex, damn this looks so good! I must give it a try!
adminKeymasterYes, this is possible. Thanks, that’s good idea.
adminKeymasterThank you for report. Fixed
adminKeymasterhmm interesting idea. Well, first this is not easy for implementation, but It’s possible. Question is how to do it. I must think about that. Currently I see two ways : you can increase dpad to first half of screen and I must somehow override it’s functionality to not have middle inside the circle. Here may be problem with big texture size. Second way is cleaner but much harder for implementation (but maybe not, who knows). Currently we have “playground” what supports adding widgets and gestures. I’ll need implemented another “playground” what reserve first half screen for joystick functionality and second half of screen for gestures and widgets. Do you want to place widgets to first half of screen (over the joystick)?
adminKeymasteryes, that’s good question. Left joystick sends some defaults what are deeper in mDosbox converted to dosbox events. Enabling voodoo mapper overrides them.
And is your bt controller functional? Does it work with another app?
And what is your android version?
adminKeymasterAnd what do you want control with left joystick and what with right joystick (keyboard, mouse or axis)? What game do you try?
adminKeymasterIt works this way :
Physical joystick/gamepad has these controls :gamepad – allows to bind keyboard keys and 2 axis (not full range, only edges -1.0, 0.0 and 1.0)
left stick – allows to bind keyboard keys, mouse and 2axis with full range from -1.0 to 1.0
right stick – the same like aboveleft and right stick shares 2axis settings. Keypad settings are unique per gamepad, left and right stick.
Left/right sticks are commonly named left/right joysticks. This was what I meant.
But reading again your post I start thinking that you want connect two physical gamepads to android device. Is it right? Unfortunately this is not implemented now. But you are second who requested it. Question is – is it possible? I will explain why I am asking. Android works this way :
If you touch down screen with your finger then you start mouse dragging. Now if you click with physical mouse then happens this :
1. android send cancel event (something like touch up) for touchscreen.
2. physical mouse does mouse down and up. And your finger is still down on your screen. This means that android does not allow cooperation of two different components.
But maybe for joystick is it fixed. This must be tested. Here I found a bit another problem
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33070114/multiple-game-controllers-on-androidOr maybe you want assign to left stick 1st axis and to second stick 2nd axis. So you will have to different axis on each stick. Please what you need from above?
Thank you,
TonyadminKeymasterHmm maybe we are not talking about the same thing. In voodoo mapper you can bind to left stick keypad, two axis, or mouse. The same for right stick…
Or do you mean something else?
adminKeymasterHah, you are right, I simulated it. Well, I am going to fix that. Will write here fix status later.
Edit : fixed. Really thanks for report. Will release today fixed version.
