So I noticed that Magic DOSBox allows the use of Roland MT-32 and I’ve always wanted to play a DOS game with the MIDI synth.

I tried finding some MT-32 files that the emulator could use, but no luck for me. Are there any links that have the appropriate MT-32 files for this emulator? I would appreciate the help.

    Hi,

    MT-32

Files for mt-32 were copyrighted. I heard that copyright already expired, however I am aware post files, because I have no more details.

But try searching for “vogons mt-32 roms” in google search engine.

My files have size CM32L_CONTROL_ROM (65536B) and CM32L_PCM.ROM(1048576B)

    I own roland

    Soundfonts:

For synth(soundfont) you need sound fonts – files with extension .sf2 (for example FluidSynth.sf2, SGM-V2.01.sf2, mt-32.sf2, GeneralUser_GS_SoftSynth_v144.sf2, etc)

Thanks for the help. I’m actually fascinated with the soundfonts. Figuring out that Magic DOSBox allows soundfont files (after downloading the ones shared here), I am having fun downloading more sf2 files and they sound fascinating. 🙂
