Power of dosbox. Tune application cycles manually.

Cycles are power of computer CPU. It is amount of instructions which DOSBox tries to emulate each millisecond.

Newly added game profile has performance set to automatic. That sets cycles to “max” (+some additional sound tweaks). When you turn it off than you gain new options “Power” in General settings. It allows you to tune application speed in runtime. Starting value is 3000 cycles and you can change it with +/- (500, 100, 10) buttons. In left upper corner you can see current value.

* This option is not always the best way. For example : Warcraft 2 has game intro which needs lower cycles but game itself needs higher. This solves automatic adjustment. On the other side… for games like Might and Magic 1 is the best choice to set cycles manually.
